The Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, together with KAZENERGY Association, will host the Kazakhstan Forum on Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) on August 26–28, 2026, at Rixos President Astana, Astana, Kazakhstan.
The Forum is dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Central Commission for Exploration and Development of Hydrocarbon Fields of the Republic of Kazakhstan (ЦКРР РК).
The event will bring together government authorities, oil and gas operators, research and design institutes, service companies and international experts to discuss practical approaches to EOR implementation, residual reserves development and oil recovery factor improvement.
The Forum program will include:
• Plenary and technical sessions
• Roundtable of the Ministry of Energy on recovery factor improvement
• EOR Hackathon for mature field technology screening
